Main Privileges of studying in Netherland:
University admission requirements in the Netherlands for the international students:
- A copy of your passport or ID.
- A photocopy of the personal data page of the passport.
- Copies of high school diplomas and/or academic certificates.
- A copy of the academic record.
- Proof of English or Dutch language proficiency.
- Proof of payment of the application fee.
Working in the Netherlands for the international students:
The laws and hours allowed for international students differ:
- For EU/EEA students there is no maximum working hours and they do not require a work permit.
- Students outside the EU/EEA, They are allowed to work up to 16 hours a week, but they are required to have a work permit. If you want to work full-time during June, July and August, you need a work permit that takes about 5 weeks to get.
- Students outside the EU/EEA, A work permit is no longer required for volunteer work or a study-related internship. It is important to note that students must sign a tripartite training agreement between themselves, their academic institution and the training provider.
