About Aswan University
The branch of Aswan University was established in 1976 as a branch of Assiut University. The study began in October of the academic year 1973/1974 at the Faculty of Education and was granted the first bachelor’s degree in 1978 and then began enrolling the master’s degree in the Faculty of Science in the academic year 1977/1978 after that enrolling for a doctorate degree began in the academic year 1977/1978. In 1995 Presidential Decree No. 23 of 1995 was issued to establish South Valley University and its branch in Aswan, and then new faculties were established (Faculty of Arts – College of Social Work – College of Engineering).
In 2012, Aswan University was established as a public university by Presidential Decree No. 311 of June 11, 2013, and now includes 15 faculties. (Faculties of Arts, Education, Science, Social Work, Engineering, Energy Engineering, Veterinary Medicine, Agriculture, Nursing, Languages and Translation, Medicine, Fisheries Technology, Commerce, Quality Education, Archaeology).
The main campus is located in Sahara City, Airport Road which occupies 400 acres in addition to the new headquarters in New Aswan which occupies 98.5 acres. Aswan University has 6 campuses and 6 university residences in Aswan city.

- The faculties of Engineering, Computing, Pharmacy and Physiotherapy are $5,500 per year.

Required documents to secure admission to the bachelor stage:

Required documents to complete the student registration at the university for the bachelor’s level:
- Original high school grades attested by the Foreign Ministry and the Egyptian Embassy
- Original Birth Certificate

- A judicial agency for the institution’s representative in Cairo to complete the student registration procedures at the university
Bachelor Stage:
- The student pays a first-time enrollment installation fee of $1,500 paid only once.
- Medical and dental schools $6,000 per year.
- The faculties of Engineering, Computing, Pharmacy and Physiotherapy $5,000 per year.
- Colleges of Veterinary Medicine, Agriculture, Science and Nursing $4,000 per year.
- The rest of the colleges and other institutes are $3000 per year.

About University Accommodation
University cities are one of the most important sectors of care for university students, whether it is care (social, health, scientific, cultural or sports), they provide an integrated university life for their students, especially students who are expatriates from their families.
